Thursday Night's Game

I thought the game last night between the Colts and Saints would be a high scoring affair with Manning and Brees airing it out...well...only the Colts aired it out. Fantasy Wrecking Crew should have been happy with his players production last night...he had 3 Colts and 1 Saint going with Manning getting his usual over 30 points. The other Colt "Big 3" of Addai, Harrison and Wayne had good games. McAllister had only 4 points....Brees had 3.5 points (sorry Cenk) and Bush only had 5. Brees was awful..only completing 1 pass for more than 23 yards.....his passes were usually just short dump offs.....

DRAFT RECAP

Eight of us where there for the WBIFL Draft. James was on the golf course and Chris got hung up, but said he would still kick Quigleys Butt!!

First Big Suprise was Dan selecting Peyton Manning with the 3rd pick....I'm sure James would have been disappointed had he been here. Bush going next to Drew was also a mild surprise. That left Alexander and Gore going 7 and 8 when they normally would go perhaps 4 and 5. I hope Gore does well for me this year. Couple of other QB's go early in round 2 which means that the top 6 QB's are gone by late in the 3rd round....

First Defense was taken by Jorge...the Redskins....in the 5th round....was that too early?

First Kicker went in the 8th round along with the First LB.

September 4th

Well...here we are...1 day before the draft. I don't know about you but I really don't want to pick in the middle. Last year I picked 5th...I still got Steven Jackson...but I'd rather pick 1 (LT), or 9, 10...of course...knowing my luck..I'll pick 5th again.

We have a few new guys this year..Jorge and Drew....Doug and Jorge can now talk some spanish smack to each other. Welcome aboard guys.

Let me know if you want me to post anything...like private bets with each other or just some plain smack to someone...
