5th Weekend Matchups/Analysis

BX KA

KRUSH vs Trucos: Krush is looking for win #5. We'll see if R. Brown can keep up his startling play the last few weeks...L. Johnson got back on track last week....perhaps he can keep it up. S. Smith should bounce back after only scoring 8 points together the last 2 games. Vikings D is on bye this week. For Trucos, Romo should still be on a roll....he faces a Bad Buffalo team. D. Ward will share carries this week with Jacobs...don't expect double digit points. Jones-Drew faces a tough Carolina D...J. Jones will also share carries with Barber. Gates should get his usual 15 points a game.

BX KA

Sasquatch vs Wrecking Crew: No Palmer this week..so Sasquatch goes with D. Anderson. Not a bad choice since Cleveland will be trying to play catch-up with New England all day. He will throw alot. Addai didn't practice twice this week, but Colts are hopeful he will start on Sunday. Both Jones and Parker had awful days last week. D. Jackson still hasn't had a good game for SF...and with a backup QB now, he still may not have a good game. The Crew should still get great numbers from P. Manning and D. Clark. Harrison may not play....we may know more on Friday. Portis/Betts will be ready to go...although we'll see if the game against Detroit will be more of a passing game than a running game.

BX KA
Old Fart vs Bombers: Old Fart is basically hanging on by the skin of his teeth...since his roster hasn't scored many points all year. Gore gets a tough Ravens D...don't expect much there. Benson may get more touches this week according to the coach...thats good news. If Harrison doesn't play, Wayne may get more looks. Bombers is still waiting for LT to have monster game...he just may if the Denver secondary takes out the San Diego passing game. Barber got a TD taken away last week when Jones got the goal line carry....regardless he should do well against a bad Buffalo D. Welker should get many touches this week.

BX KA

Drew vs QXOPA: Drew, coming off his first win, gets his QB and RB back this week after last weeks bye...V. Young should have a nice game against Atlanta, while Bush, even against the Jags D should get alot of touches with McAllister out. Witten has become a favorite target of Romo and should get nice points this week. B. Marshall scored last week and has been a nice surprise. QXOPA should get 6TD's with Brady/Moss, but we'll see if thats enough sicne the rest of the roster may not do much. S. Moss may not play on Sunday.

BX KA

Monsoon vs Neo: Kudos to Monsoon for picking up the backup to T. Henry yesterday since he may not play this weekend do to marijana use. S. Young may get his 1st start although we'll see if he is effective or not. Kitna should put up good numbers since Detroit is a passing team. Still no TD's for McGahee. R. Williams was shut down last week but should get Double Digit points this week...along with T. Owens. Neo will have Roethlisberger back at QB. Expect good points from him this week. Expect both Green Bay WR's to get their share of points since the Green Bay running game is awful. Favre will be airing it out. Holt may have a break out game this week. L. Briggs is still questionable for Sunday.

Waiver Wire/Analysis

Both Trucos and Sasquatch picked up backup RB's to Lamont Jordan. Rhodes for Trucos and Fargas for Sasquatch. Since Oakland has their bye week this weekend...that may be enough time for Jordan to rest his back and be back in the starting lineup...if not...Fargas and Rhodes will probably split carries.

Bombers picked up E. Graham. Since C. Williams is out for the year for Tampa.....Graham and Pittman will also share carries. The Crew has Pittman.

Old Fart took a chance on D. Bowe from KC...He may be the Chiefs top WR.

Interesting Stats

2006: Through the first 4 games, Brady had 6 TD's, 3 Int's, 3 fumbles and 60 points. He only topped 20 points twice all year.
2007: Through the first 4 games, Brady has 13 TD's. 2 Int's, 2 fumbles and 130 points.

2006: Through the first 4 games, Moss had 2 TD's and 17 points. Had 3 TD's all year.
2007: Through the first 4 games, Moss has 7 TD's and 110 points.

What a difference a year makes..and QXOPA is grinning from ear to ear.

Also: How the first round draft picks have been doing so far this year. All RB's except Manning

S. Jackson, B. Westbrook and R. Johnson have all missed 1 game so far due to injuries.

L. Tomlinson: 71 points 4 total TD's
S. Jackson: 27 points 0 TD's
P. Manning: 105 points 8 TD's (qb)
R. Bush: 35 points 2 TD's (3 games played due to bye)
L. Johnson: 43 points 0 TD's
J Addai: 80 points 5 TD's
S. Alexander: 53 points 2 TD's
F. Gore: 53 points 3 TD's
B. Westbrook: 78 points 3 TD's
R Johnson: 33 points 1 TD
Well...it happened again....lets get right to the 2 big games we had.

Sasquatch vs Drew: Drew got his 1st win of the season. Congrats. Palmer had a Subpar outing of 13 points. A few more TD's and Sasquatch may have pulled it off. Sasquatch is 1-3 and Drew is 1-3

QXOPA vs Neo: They did it again!! Brady/Moss combo gets 5 TD's between them and QXOPA edges out Neo by 5 points to go 4-0. Looks like nothing can stop QXOPA except Brady/Moss's bye week. Neo almost had him...BUT....Neo did know his LB wasn't playing and decided not to pick up another one..that really may have been the difference.....good lesson on not tanking a position. QXOPA is 4-0 and Neo is 1-3

Wrecking Crew vs Bombers: Crew made it close at the end losing by 9 points. I'll bet Bombers was sweating it out. If Crew got better production from his WR's (only 1 point between them) he would have won. Crew is 1-3 and Bombers is 2-2

Trucos vs Monsoon: Trucos is 3-1 and Monsoon is 1-3

KRUSH vs Old Fart: Krush is 4-0 and Old Fart is 2-2

Weekend Results - Week 4

A very interesting weekend....to say the least....a few possible upsets....

Sasquatch vs Drew: This is the big game. Drew could possibly get his 1st win of the year. I think everyone would say this would be the upset of the year so far if he did since he had to replace many starters with bench/waiver wire players. Garcia did ok with 17 points. He actually ran in 1 TD. Dayne was a starter and got 8. The big difference maker was the Seattle D which got 24. Witten should be starting for him knowing that Dallas is throwing alot these days. Sasquatch got good games from Addai, as usual, and surprisingly from Branch. L. Jordan was gonna have a big game but got injured in the 2nd quarter and didn't return...but his downfall was the Bronco D that got him negative 4 points...a 28 point swing. It goes down to tonights game. Sasquatch has Palmer, but Drew has C. Johnson and a 20 point lead.

Wrecking Crew vs Bombers: P. Manning and D. Clark were the only bright spots for the Crew, but that was it. 2 Rb's and 2 WR's got him only 11 points together. He has got a WR, LB and Pat's D to go, but it won't be enough to overcome 46 points and 1 WR to go for Bomber. Big games for Favre and Tomlinson. Burress and McDonald both score a TD.

KRUSH vs Old Fart: The KRUSH keeps on rolling on. He most likely will be the only 4-0 team left. Whats with R. Brown for Miami? He goes off again for over 100 yards rushing and 70 yards receiving. Who would have thought. Hasselbeck does a good job and L. Johnson gets his biggest point total for the year, 15.5 points. Fart's starting roster was pathetic. P. Rivers gets only 4 points and a WR and TE get only 1.5 each. What kind of manager is Old Fart when his bench of only 6 players gets more points than all of the 10 players in the starting lineup?? I think he needs to read up on Fantasy Football for Idiots.

QXOPA vs Neo: This could be a mini upset of the week. QXOPA had to replace alot of players because of byes...but still.....Westbrook was declared out which didn' help, but most people thought he wouldn't play a week ago. Peterson did ok, but may not get as many touches with Taylor back in the lineup now. It really comes down to tonights game and whether Brady/Moss can score like 6 TD's between them. Neo also had a no score from Briggs who was out. Roethlisberger had a good game with 25 points. He still has his kicker to go and we'll see if 40 points and the K can upset QXOPA with his brady/moss combo to go.

Trucos vs Monsoon: Well....the trade these two teams did faired well for Trucos. Kudos to all who did the Poll and voted for Trucos.. Romo went off again with 4 total TD's and over 300 yards. The 44 points he scored probably put him in the win column...since thre rest of his roster didn't do anything outstanding except Fitzgerald, who had a nice game, but only because Boldin was out. Monsoon still has a LB and kicker tonight, but not enough to overcome over 40 points. McNabb had an awful (4 points) game (sacked 12 times and fumbled a few times)...and this coming after a 45 point game last week. The rest of the Monsoon offense didn't score a TD at all. Just all rushing/receiving points. T. Henry did OK (part of the trade with Trucos), but didn't play alot of the 2nd half because of an Ankle injury.
