Weekend Results - Week 5

A few observations I noticed....

This was the lowest scoring week overall for our league. 4 teams ( Sasquatch, Wrecking Crew, Drew, KRUSH) had their lowest point total so far this year.

Most RB 1st round draft choices have been a bust to begin the year. LT has been scoring below average...Jackson is out for a while, Addai, Westbrook and R. Johnson have been missed at least 1 game...Bush and L. Johnson haven't scored 20 points yet and Alexander and Gore have scored 20 points once but otherwise have been a disappointment. Best out of the bunch is Addai, who is avergaing 20 points a game. Even the lone QB chosen inthe first round, P. Manning, isn't even the best QB right now.

Quick Review:

Sasquatch (1-4) vs Wrecking Crew (2-3) : Sasquatch missed Addai...If Addai played and got his average points, he would have carried Sasquatch to the win. It was surprising Sasquatch didn't pick up his backup, K. Keith, who scored 29 on Sunday. He was available until Friday. Another lesson in picking up a Star's backup when the inury report had Addai doubtful. Better safe than sorry. The Crew got a great game from the Patriots D and the usual good game from P. Manning and D. Clark. A very Low scoring game. Deion Branch is out for the next 2 games and M. Pittman is out 6-8 weeks.

KRUSH (4-1) vs Trucos (4-1) : Krush gets his first loss. R. Brown had another great game and so did B. Watson. But no one else really contributed. Trucos got some solid scoring across the board since Romo and J. Jones had off games. Hasselbeck could be in trouble for KRUSH since he has no great options at receiver...hence his 3 points on Sunday. A. Gates continues to impress.

Old Fart (2-3) vs Bombers (3-2) : Fart loses the game when the Dallas kicker kicks a long FG to win the game for Dallas. K. Keith shows he is a worthy backup getting over 29 points. Addai should be back next week for the Colts. Too bad! Burress has another good game in spite of his injuries. Favre again has a decent game. Fart also loses a lunch bet with Bombers.

Drew (1-4) vs QXOPA (5-0) : Drew's team hd a bad day. First he forgot to take out C. Johnson since he was on bye week....and aside from J. Witten, no ne else got going. QXOPA didn't get much from R. Moss this week, but the Redskins D made up for it with 28 points. T. Brady got another easy 31 points. QXOPA is the lone undefeated team remaining.

Monsoon (1-4) vs Neo (2-3) : Another Low scoring affair....Chargers D was the only bright spot for Monsoon. Both T. Henry and S. Alexander scored under 6 and Kitna only got 3 points after getting over 20 in the first 4 games. Even T. Owens abd R. Williams scored under 5. Neo got good games from T. Holt and G. Jennings. L. Briggs finally had a good game.
