4th Weekend Matchups/Analysis

I thought perhaps there would be a flurry of trades after last week...but I guess I was wrong. It seems quite a few used the waiver wire to help their teams and perhaps adding a free agent or two. Still don't understand why some teams didn't use the waiver wire...there were quite a few players that could help teams...especially since we have had a slew of injuries.

Sasquatch vs Drew: Will Drew get his 1st win?? Probably not this week. Sasquatch has his big 3 RB's going....together they average about 60 points. Palmer goes against the tough Patriots D..we'll see if he can get back on track....and he may since Rudi Johnson is out and the Pats D is tough on the run. He will need to pass more. Drew hasn't done anything to upgrade his team and he has 4 players on bye and his bench won't help since they are mainly backup players except Brandon Marshall, who is a nice sleeper.

Wrecking Crew vs Bombers: The Crew had a few players on bye....requiring him to pick up some RB's from the wire. Droughns was a vulture last week picking up 2 TD's from the goal line...I'm sure the Crew hopes he does it again. Pittman will get the ball some for TB, but don't expect too many points with Grahan probably getting goal line carries. P. Manning should have an interesting game against the good Denver cornerbacks...still, he should get his usual over 20 points. Will the Bombers keep an obviously not 100% Bulger as QB..or move Favre to the QB position? To me Favre has the better matchup...LT should have a good game against KC and Barber is the "Man" now in Dallas over Jones...Welker should be a nice play this week against a Cincinnati D that gave up a cruise of passing TD's to The Browns.

KRUSH vs Old Fart: Old Fart is still waiting for his players to wake up..he has the least points of anyone in the league, but has a 2-1 record. Maroney is running good but still is looking for his 1st TD since Morris is vulturing the goal line carries. Benson gets Detroit's bad rushing D.
Perhaps Wayne can get a TD this week. For the KRUSH....can R. Brown duplicate his efforts from Last weeks 46 point explosion..or get under 10 points like the other 2 weeks? Foster ran well last week against atlanta but faces a better D in tampa this week. S. Smith had 1 ctach for 10 yards last week....awful....after averaging 30 points the first 2 weeks..he should get back to normal this week. Watson has been a pleasant surprise geting a TD every week. Who would have thought anyone would bench L. Johnson, a 1st round pick, for a 2nd week? What a disappointment so far for Johnson owners.

QXOPA vs Neo: I expect another 4-6 TD's for Brady/Moss. No one has stopped them yet so why should Brady stop throwing? He won't. Peterson has been a nice surprise while Taylor is out...Westbrook missed another practice Thursday..we'll see if he can go Sunday night. QXOPA had to plug in a few bench players since his starting WR's are on bye....Stokley isn't much of a fantasy threat and Dunn is just an adequate backup. Will he drop a bench player to pick up a TE? The way his team has been scoring..he may not need too. Neo neo neo...a few of his players didn't practice this week...like Briggs and R. Johnson, who is out for Monday's game. Look for Driver to have a good game. E. James has the Pitt D to go against...I don't expect a good game from him.

Trucos vs Monsoon: Trucos could be in trouble. Reports are that B. Jackson may not play..and if he does he probably won't run well anyway. The Packers will probably throw the ball alot more than run. Even Ward is nursing a bad ankle. Boldin's hip is still hurting him...he could be a game time decsion...Gates should get his points and so should Chambers. Monsoon hopes for another great game from McNabb. Although if westbrook doesn't play his numbers may be reduced. McGahee and Alexander should get their points this week. We'll see if the Chicago D can stop Roy Williams, who had over 3o points last week. We'll see if the trade they did pays dividends for either one of them.
